Dragon Glove Puppet



This wonderful Glove puppet will give hours of fun and is very easy to make. Feel free to try out your own variations. We have used a trouser leg but try using a sock or glove or even a shirt sleeve.



You will need:
Trouser leg/Shirt sleeve
Tinsel
Red fabric for mouth
Red fabric for tongue
Brown for the ears
White, green and black for the eyes
Ribbon

1. Firstly turn the leg inside out
2. Stitch the red fabric along the hem of the leg until it is all the way around.
3. join the red fabric to both sides of the leg to hold it in place (leaving it loose in the top and bottom so that you can insert you hand and make the mouth move)
4. Stitch the back of the mouth together.
5. Turn the leg the right way out
6. Stick the tongue to the back of the mouth so that it flops about nicely.
7. now stick the rest of the features, eyes, ears and tinsel
8. stitch the end of the ribbon to the side of the leg, now stitch the end of the other piece to the other side, so that they can be tied in the middle (this is to keep the puppet safely and comfortably around your wrist)
